She taught me what it meant to live a life of obedience, sacrifice, prayer, fasting, and faith. More than that, she taught me how to follow God even when it wasn't popular, when it was uncomfortable, and when it meant standing alone.\n\nShe was the first person who truly saw and believed in the call of God on my life. Before I could see it for myself, she saw something God had placed inside of me and continually encouraged me to walk in it. Her belief in me gave me the courage to believe God for more.\n\nOne of the greatest gifts she gave me was Jesus. No matter what season I was in, she always pointed me back to Him. She taught me that no matter how far I had wandered or how difficult life became, I could always return to Jesus. That lesson has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life.\n\nI still remember the last time I saw her. She asked me to kneel down while she and two others stood around me holding hands in prayer. Then she spoke words that I have never forgotten: that I was loved, protected, and that God had a shield around me. She told me that whatever I would face in life would not consume me. Those words became an anchor for me in seasons when I needed them most.\n\nPastor Jasmine loved people deeply. She had a beautiful way of seeing the best in others, even when they couldn't see it in themselves. She saw beyond people's mistakes and struggles and called out the purpose and potential that God had placed within them.\n\nI will never forget that she was the first person to ever pay me for my gift. She wrote me a cheque. I never cashed it. Instead, I carried it in my wallet as a reminder that God sees us, values what He has placed in us, and is faithful to reward obedience.\n\nUnder her leadership, I was given opportunities I never imagined possible. Little Tuti got to stand on platforms alongside mighty men and women of God, and through it all, I learned that God can use anyone who is willing to say yes.\n\nI am forever grateful for Pastor Jasmine. The prayers she prayed, the seeds she planted, and the love she poured into my life continue to bear fruit today.
